District Cup Competitions

This section of our website is dedicated to providing you with useful information and documents for the Leeds & District FA cup competitions.

Cup Competitions Cups

We run two senior cup competitions for teams affiliated to Saturday leagues, two senior cup competitions for teams affiliated to Sunday leagues and seven junior cup competitions for teams (Under 11- Under 18) affiliated to junior leagues.

Cup Applications 2019/20

The application window for the Leeds & District FA cup competitions will be open from 1st June 2019. Clubs/teams who participated in the 2018/19 district cup competitions will be contacted by the Leeds & District FA during the month of June 2019 to process their cup applications for the coming season.
Clubs/teams who did not participate in the 2018/19 season district cup competitions, will need to register their club for the 2019/20 season by clicking the button below :
 
The closing date for cup applications is 31st July 2019. No applications will be accepted after this date. The cup draw will take place around the middle of August 2019

Our e-LeedsFA online system allows clubs to submit their cup applications and pay by debit/credit card or by bank transfer.  Access to the e-LeedsFA online system is for club secretaries only.

Fixtures & Results

The District Cup fixtures and results can be viewed on the Leeds  & District FA Full Time website. Click here 
Your league may publish the Leeds & District FA cup fixtures on their website to indicate you have an external cup fixture. Please refer to our FA Full-Time website as this will contain the correct details for arranging the fixture and will show details of the appointed referee (if one is appointed).

Referee Appointments

The Leeds & District FA Referee Appointments Secretary will automatically appoint a referee to the following cup competitions :

  • Sat. Senior Challenge Cup
  • Sat. District Cup
  • Sun. Senior Challenge Cup
  • Sun. District Cup
  • U17/U18 Sunday Junior Cup
  • U16 Minor Cup
  • U15 Black Prince Trophy
  • U14 District Cup

The Leeds & District FA – FA Full Time system will notify registered Team Contacts via email with the details and contact information of the appointed referee. The home team should confirm the venue of the fixture with the referee no later than 7 days before the fixture. 

For the following cup competitions please contact referees@e-leedsfa.org to inquire about referee availability for your fixture. 

  • U13 Millennium Cup

For the following cup competitions, the home club can appoint a coach, parent or responsible person to officiate the fixture :

  • U12 District Cup
  • U11 District Cup

From the 1/4 finals through to the final a Leeds & District FA Referee will be automatically appointed to your fixture.

Match Report Forms

The Match Report Form for the 2018/19 competitions can be downloaded by clicking on the competition name below. The Match Report Form is specific to each competition and contains the name of the teams who have entered this season. The form can be used for all future rounds.

Prior to the fixture, complete the fixture details, team sheet and referee details. Enter the information in the grey shaded fields in the spreadsheet. The rest of the spreadsheet is protected. Select your team and opponents from the drop-down list.
Print 3 copies of the completed match report form before the fixture. A copy of the Match Report Form should be handed to your opponents and the referee before kick off time. Retain a copy for your records.

Following the fixture, the Match Report Form should be updated to include the score and referee mark. For guidance on marking the referee score, click here 
Email the Match Report Form, to cupsec@e-leedsfa.org, within 2 days of the day of the fixture. We would appreciate if you could enter your Team Name and the Competition Name in the subject field of the email. This will greatly assist us in processing your match report form quickly.

Recording of Results

On the day of the fixture, the FA Full Time system will send an SMS Text Message to each of the team mobile numbers registered with the Leeds & District FA reminding you to send in the result of the match. If you receive two SMS messages you should reply to both and if you receive only one you should reply to that. The SMS must be submitted in one of the formats shown below ensuring that it is the HOME team score that is put first.

The following are examples of the SMS text you will receive and how results should be sent in :
FA Full-Time Results: UTDF v ROVF, Sat 15 Aug 14:00. Reply with H-A score and PENS if required:

To report a 2-1 win to the home side after full time you would simply reply:
2-1

To report a 1-1 draw after full time and 5-3 win on penalties to the home side you would simply reply:
1-1 5-3 PENS

IMPORTANT NOTE – You must leave no gap between the numbers and the hyphen
